Lorentz Rifle

I enjoyed creating this, its a big mash up of a number of things. Starting from the back, a 20cm bolt is chambered much like a mechanical crossbow. Using electric charge from the 'Leyden Jar' inspired capacitors, the bolt is fired through rings of copper accelerating it much like a rail gun. At the end is a set of 6 magnets focused on the barrel creating a magnetic field to provide accuracy

I am far from a scientist or engineer but I did ask a few people 'theoretically' how this would work, the limitations made it more interesting to design and illustrate
