I wanted to create something that was exciting to look at,
My character has come across a bit androgynous but I wanted femininity to be the stronger element.

So this is Valkyrie with a little inspiration from the norse mythology.

I might update this a bit when I get the time but im pretty happy with it for now.

Let me know what you think!

Nice scarring effects! She's clearly been through a lot. If you're trying to make the character look more feminine while still looking in place, try smaller pauldrons and somewhat wider hips. Keep it up! The internet needs more art like this!

Being Norse, I automatically enjoy anything from my culture. But as a work of art, this is great! The Valkyrie looks appropriately fierce, and I think the fact that you didn't make her a typical Wagner beauty was an excellent touch befitting the Handmaids of . The armor looks like it's been used (are those wings I see on her back?) and she definitely looks like she belongs on the battlefield. Now I'm wondering if you take commissions! That would be brilliant.

Thanks a lot man! I originally had plans to have 'electric wings' coming from the metal back piece but I really did not like the look so I gave that a miss.
I am happy to do a commission if your interested, Cheers.

Cool. What are your rates? Better question, do you have any specific ones?

Well unfortunately there is no guide book to this stuff so I am at the bottom rung, I do not have anything specific, it really depends on the type of work whether it be photography, hand illustration, digital illustration or all of them together. Did you have something specific in mind? I might be able to judge it better from there

Yeah, I was thinking you could do a full-body one-character shot with a relatively uncomplicated background in a digital medium. Sci-fi theme.
